AITP National Conference

The Association of Information Technology Professionals holds their annual information systems conference in the fall each year for industry leaders, information technology (IT) professionals, and IT students who want to see the latest products and services, learn more about IT management, technical or security issues, and network with other business leaders and professionals. Site location varies.


Consortium for School Networking(CoSN)

The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) holds its annual conference for K-12 School Networking in or near Washington, DC usually in early March on even-numbered years. On odd-numbered years, the conference is held across the U.S. This conference addresses how the Internet and information technologies infrastructure can improve learning in the K-12 classroom.


CSCL

CSCL (Computer Support for Collaborative Learning) is an international conference usually held in June at various locations around the world. CSCL is sponsored by the International Society for the Learning Sciences (ISLS) and explores opportunities for computer and Internet technology to support collaborative forms of learning and teaching.


Distance Learning

The University of Wisconsin-Madison sponsors the Annual 3-day Conference on Distance Teaching and Learning in early August. Distance Learning 20XX is held at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Monona Terrace Convention Center in the heart of Madison's downtown on the shores of Lake Monona, Wisconsin.


Ed Media Annual Conference

Ed-Media, the World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia, and Telecommunications is sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education and is normally held during the last week of June at various locations around the world.


EDUCAUSE

The EDUCAUSE annual conference is normally held in October or November at various hosted sites around the United States. EDUCAUSE is an international, nonprofit association whose mission is to help shape and enable transformational change in higher education.


E-Learn Conference

The E-Learn Conference focuses on E-Learning in Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education. Normally held in October or November each year, the location rotates among invited sites in the U.S. and abroad. E-Learn is sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE).


IEEE-TCLT

The IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technologies (TCLT) brings together researchers, academics and industry practitioners who are involved or interested in the design and development of advanced and emerging learning technologies. ICALT is normally held in July at various hosted sites around the world.


Florida Educational Technology Conference (FETC)

FETC is one of the largest and best attended educational technology conferences. Normally held in January at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, it attracts a wide variety of education professionals and exhibitors.


InfoTec

InfoTec, the Information Technology Conference and Exposition, is sponsored by the Ak-Sar-Ben Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, and is typically held the third week in April in Omaha, Nebraska at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. The Infotec conference provides a forum for exhibitors, educators, entrepreneurs, business managers and IT professionals to interact and exchange ideas and to develop business opportunities and learn the latest in information technology.


Museums & the Web

Archives & Museum Informatics (A&MI) sponsors the International Museums and the Web Conference which is normally held in March or April at invited locations in the United States and Canada.


National Center for Educational Statistics Forum and Conference

The NCES Forum and Management Information Systems Conference is normally held in July at invited locations across the United States. This is a conference of Elementary and Secondary Education Data Users and Providers. The audience will include individuals from state education agencies, local education agencies (LEAs), schools, interested researchers and policymakers, and federal representatives.


ISTE 201X (formerly the National Educational Computing Conference)

NECC is the annual conference sponsored by the International Society for Technology in Education. It is normally held around the third week of June in varying sites around the United States. Through hands-on and discussion-based workshops, lectures and interactive sessions, discussions with key industry speakers, and the largest vendor exhibition of its kind, ISTE-NECC offers participants the unique opportunity to discover and share what they need to develop the appropriate use of technology in their classrooms, districts, and universities.


NDLA Conference

The Nebraska Distance Learning Association annual conference is normally held in late May or early June each year at invited sites around the State.


NEMA, NLA Annual Conference

The Nebraska Library Association and the Nebraska Educational Media Association hold their annual conference the third week in October each year.


NETA Conference

The Nebraska Educational Technology Association Annual Conference is always held the last Thursday and Friday of April at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The event annually attracts over 2000 educators.


SITE Conference

The Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education International Conference is a multi-day event sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and is normally held in March each year. This society represents individual teacher educators and affiliated organizations of teacher educators in all disciplines, who are interested in the creation and dissemination of knowledge about the use of information technology in teacher education and faculty/staff development. SITE is a society of AACE.


Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) Conference

The TCEA Conference is normally held the first week in February at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. With over 400 sessions and hands-on workshops, it attracts educators from all over the country, but the majority from the 20 intermediate service agencies of the Lonestar State.
